Located in the Wilson Library, the Academic Success Center (ext. 4342) serves University of La Verne undergraduate and graduate students through tutoring, academic coaching, placement testing, classroom support, and campus workshops.
Peer tutoring provides students with an opportunity to enhance their knowledge and skills in a variety of academic subjects, including biology and chemistry; business, accounting, and economics; computer science; Languages (Spanish, French); mathematics & physics; writing; and statistics. Subject availability may change from semester to semester.
Every effort is made to provide tutoring in requested areas based on student need. All ASC tutors are trained in cultural diversity, learning needs, the tutoring process, client confidentiality (FERPA), and university policies along with supplemental professional development throughout each semester.
